Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Stryxs (the "Service"), operated at stryxs.com by Nathalie Barbier as a sole proprietor ("Stryxs", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.


1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or 13 in the United States, with parental consent) to create an account. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You may only have one personal account.

2. The Service

Stryxs provides AI-generated training plans, workout analysis, pattern detection, and an AI coach chat for endurance athletes (running, cycling, swimming, triathlon, general fitness).

We offer two tiers:

The exact features in each tier are listed at stryxs.com/upgrade and may change over time. We will not remove paid features from your active subscription period without notice.

Stryxs is not a medical service. We are not your doctor, physical therapist, or qualified medical professional.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and accept these risks. You agree that Stryxs and its operators are not responsible for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from your use of the Service or from following its recommendations.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are used fraudulently, or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

5. Subscription, billing, and refunds

When you subscribe to Stryxs Pro:

We generally do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Exceptions may apply where required by applicable consumer protection law, or in cases of clear billing errors. Email support@stryxs.com to request a refund review. If you reside in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with statutory withdrawal rights, you may have the right to withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of subscribing, unless you have explicitly requested immediate access to the Service, in which case the withdrawal right may be limited.

5.4 Failed payments

If a payment fails (expired card, insufficient funds), we'll attempt to retry per Stripe's standard retry schedule. If payment cannot be collected, your account will revert to the Free tier.

7. Your content and license

You retain ownership of all data you upload or create on the Service (workouts, intake answers, chat messages, profile information).

By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, display, and modify your data solely to operate and improve the Service for you. This license terminates when you delete your data or your account, except for backup retention as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your training data and we will never use it for advertising.

7.1 AI-generated content

The training plans, coach responses, and analysis generated by Stryxs's AI are produced for your use. You may use them however you'd like for your own training. We make no representation that AI-generated text is unique, factually correct, or fit for any specific purpose.

The Service integrates with:

Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Stryxs is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or actions.

9. Service availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. We may:

You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which a claim is brought (contract, tort, statute, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for matters that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stryxs and its operators from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of:

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If you reside in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, you retain the rights granted to you by those laws.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If the changes are material, we'll notify you via email or a prominent in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree with the updated Terms, your only remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.
